Spanish Learning Hub

Role: Designer & Content Creator
Focus: Digital Language Education | Spanish | Resource Development
Learning Audience:  GCSE and A-Level students, as well as adult learners in academic or professional settings.

 

Description:
During my time as a Spanish teacher, I developed the Spanish Learning Hub—an interactive, bilingual website designed to support both learners and educators. 

 

Main Challenges:

  • Lack of engaging, structured digital resources for Spanish learners

  • Need for self-access tools to support both students and teachers

  • Limited availability of bilingual content contextualised for different learning levels

Solutions:

  • Created a bilingual website with downloadable and interactive content

  • Developed grammar and vocabulary resources with built-in progression

  • Integrated cultural materials to enhance contextual learning

  • Designed content suitable for self-paced study and classroom use

Skills demonstrated:

  • Digital instructional design

  • Language pedagogy and curriculum planning

  • UX for learning platforms

  • Visual, written, and interactive content creation

  • Project management and self-direction

Technology used:

  • WordPress (or Wix, if applicable)

  • Canva & Adobe Creative tools

  • Google Workspace for resource organisation
